English Premier League side Leicester City have not followed up their interest in signing €30m rated Nigerian forward Dennis Emmanuel Bonaventure from Belgium side Club Brugge.
” Leicester City made checks on him but they didn’t follow it up with an offer. I guess they have shelve the plan for now but Dennis will be open to joining them as playing in England still remains one of his long term dreams”.
Club Brugge are also in no hurry to cash in on the player who has one cap for the senior national team of Nigeria as they hope to keep him until at least next summer as his market value could be more if he maintains his current form.
So far he has three goals in 12 league games this season but he caught the eyes of the rest of the world when he scored a brace at the Santiago Bernabeu against Real Madrid in a 2-2 draw in the UEFA Champions League.
