Paul Onuachu is in line to keep his spot in the senior national team of Nigeria for their engagement in March despite the availability of Belgium born Nigerian striker Cyriel Dessers.
Dessers has openly pledged his allegiance to Nigeria ahead of Belgium and he is hoping to be included in the squad of the senior national team of Nigeria for their international commitments in March next year.
The current top scorer in the Dutch Eredivisie where he has 11 goals has been tipped to take the place of Paul Onuachu in the team but that is likely not going to be the case as Rohr sees him as a different player to the Genk striker.
Onuachu in the mind of Rohr gives the team another way to play due to his physical presence and height which means he can help when they want to vary their play by using aerial balls mainly against opponents with not too tall defenders.
Rohr will no doubt still keep Onuachu who has struggled for goals this season as his first choice option behind main striker Victor Osimhen who still has the backing of the coach after his impressive goal run for both club and country last month.
