Hours after helping IK Start gain promotion to the Eliteserien next season, Midfielder Afeez Aremu says he’ll be open to leaving the club in January to one of Europe’s top Leagues.
The former Akwa United player joined the Norwegian club in January of 2018 and has made 51 appearances for the side, scoring four goals.
In an exclusive chat with www.brila.net the Midfielder revealed he won’t force a move, but insists his goal is to move to mainstream Europe and more centrally to where there’s attention.
Asked how if there are plans for him to leave IK Start, Azeez said, “Well very soon.”
“I would like to play in one of the biggest leagues in the world. When the time comes it comes.
“My objective was to get the club back to the top league. The January transfer window is already ope,n so we’ll see happens,” he said.
