FC Barcelona forward Antoine Griezmann claims he will be living out a dream when he takes to the field in his El Clasico on Wednesday.
The Frenchman found the back of the net as Barcelona drew 2-2 with Real Sociedad on Saturday afternoon, taking his tally to six goals in 15 LaLiga appearances this season.
Griezmann is expeceted to line up alongside Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez at the Camp Nou, which will be a dream come true for the 2018 World Cup winner.
“It’s a match the whole world waits for and just as important for the fans as the players,” Griezmann told Barcelona’s official media.
“It was always amazing to watch Clasicos on TV, and now it’s a dream to be able to play one and be involved myself.
“I’m very happy and looking forward to it, it will be an incredible day and I hope to go into it in the best way possible to play a great game.”
The Catalan giants will enter the encounter as LaLiga leaders after Real Madrid could only secure a point at Valencia on Sunday night.
