It Is Been rumored from the NFF office Sunday Dankaro House located at Package B of M.K.O Abiola National Stadium that no fan will be allowed to get close to the Super Eagles’ players when they report for training for the Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers clash against the Lone Stars of Sierra-Leone .
According to sources close to sportingrave.com It has been reported that this precautionary measure is meant to ensure that no Super Eagles player contracts the deadly Coronavirus which has ravaged several countries in the world since it broke in China last year.
Indeed, all the European clubs where Nigerian players ply their trade have directed chieftains of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to ensure that they don’t come in contact with members of the public in Asaba, before, during and after the game.
Feelers from those who should know at the Glasshouse suggested that the team would conduct all its pre-match training sessions behind closed doors, in fulfillment with the agreement struck with all the European clubs where invited players ply their trade.
The invited players are expected to report to the team’s camp from March 22 where training has been slated to begin from March 23.
