Super Eagles German Gaffer Gernot Rorh has revealed that he has receive his contract paper works from the Nigeria Football Federation and promise to look into it before any further decision is been made.
Rohr is in the last three months of his contract with the federation and the Franco-German insists he will love to remain with the team.
NFF president Amaju Pinnick earlier this month on a programme assured that the 66-yearold’s contract proposal would be sent to him in France with some new terms, which includes staying in Nigeria.
“Personally, I also discussed with my (NFF) president on the future since I am at the end of the contract on June 30. I have just received a proposal for an extension. We will also have to look into this,” Rohr was quoted as saying by girondins4ever.com.
“But it is especially the health of the players, of everyone, right now, that counts. In Nigeria, there are not a lot of cases, but there are some too.
“We are afraid for Africa that it could worsen because the habits of life there make confinement very difficult. So, I’m hearing from players from Nigeria.”
Rohr took over the Eagles’ job in 2016 and has less than three months before the expiration of his current contract.
