Fiorentina have confirmed that three of their players and three members of their coaching staff have tested positive for coronavirus.
Players and staff have undergone coronavirus testing across Italy ahead of a return to training.
“After the tests carried out on Wednesday afternoon, Fiorentina can confirm that three players and three members of the coaching and health staff have tested positive for COVID-19,” Fiorentina said in a statement.
“The club have isolated the people affected.
“[On Friday], other tests are scheduled ahead of the start of voluntary activity on the pitch.”
In previous weeks, Fiorentina confirmed that players German Pezzella, Patrick Cutrone and Dusan Vlahovic had all tested positive for coronavirus.
In Italy, players are allowed to do individual training at their clubs’ facilities and will be allowed back into group training on May 18.
