Manchester city and Germany winger Leroy Sane has rejected a contract extension with the club according to City Manager Pep Gaurdiola.
Leroy sane is set to leave the citizens in the summer transfer window if a deal will be reached with a club coming summer.
Manchester city have had a contract offer on the table for Sane for some time, but the German is yet to commit his future to the club amid strong interest from Bayern Munich.
Sane is out of contract next summer, so City would have to sell him in the coming transfer window in order to receive any fee for the winger.
Speaking ahead of City’s clash with Burnley, Guardiola said: “Leroy said he doesn’t want to extend his contract beyond next season, so it means he wants to leave and it will happen this summer or next summer.
Bayern Munich have made Sane their No 1 target this summer and have already held talks with City, who are demanding £62m for the former Schalke winger.
