Brazilian midfielder Arthur Melo has completed his move from Barcelona to Italian giants Juventus.
The 23-year old joins the Bianconeri on a 5-year deal that will see Juventus midfielder Miralem Pjanic moving to Barcelona in a swap deal.
Arthur’s transfer fee is £72.5m while Pjanic, 30 fee is £60m. This means that Juventus will pay an extra £12.5m to Barcelona.
Arthur featured for the Spanish champions yesterday coming on as a second half substitute against Celta Vigo in a 2-2 draw.
The draw further putting a dent on their title aspirations.
He landed in Turin yesterday to have his medicals this morning.
The Brazilian is sets to earn €5m annually which is almost four times he presently earns at Barcelona.
Arthur will travel back to Barcelona immediately after his medicals to feature in a crunchy league tie on Tuesday against Atletico Madrid.
Pjanic on the other hand will also his medicals in Turin where he will be monitored.
