Italian Legend Andrea Pirlo has been appointed as the new Juventus Under-23s manager. The midfield maestro who spent most of his playing career in the colours of Juventus, has returned to the club to manage the young lads that are coming through.

The former Italian International was known for his ability to dominate the game from the middle of the park in his playing days, he has always stated that his dream is to be the head coach of Juventus first team in the future.

Pirlo received his certification on 27 September 2018 and has waited for the right opportunity. The bianconeri’s second squad, winners of Serie C’s Coppa Italia, will also have Roberto Baronio as Pirlo’s assistant.
