Napoli are reportedly in talks with Victor Osimhen but sources close to the player claims the Lille forward is being ‘pressured’ into a move.
The Partenopei have been trying to close a double deal worth €100m for defender Gabriel and forward Osimhen, but the latter is not convinced.
His brother-in-law claimed the ‘racism in Italy’ could ultimately deter the Lille forward whilst journalist Oma Akatugba from omasports.com, who’s in touch with the player, has revealed the Nigerian is being forced to move against his will.
“He is totally against it,” Akatugba told Football Italia. “But he is being put under pressure by the club.
Sky Sport Italia reported earlier that the 21-year-old had landed in Naples and Akatugba confirmed the news to Football Italia.
In 2019-20, Osimhen netted 13 goals in 27 Ligue 1 games and would reportedly be more interested in a move to the Premier League
