Very little is going to plan at Barcelona lately, not even Nike’s manufacturing of their shirt.
The Catalans were due to wear their new 2020/21 shirt for their upcoming game against Espanyol, but those plans are no longer in place.
According to Sport, due to a problem with the shirt fading with sweat and washing, Nike have withdrawn the new shirt.
Most orders had already been sent to stores ahead of their sale beginning, but they’ve now had to recall what they’ve distributed.

The new shirt sees them return to a striped design, though the blue and red stripes are separated by a yellow line.
Next season’s away kit will be black, while the third will be pink.
