Chelsea are planning to sign Real Madrid’s Luka Jovic this summer, according to reports from Mundo Deportivo.
The 22-year-old Los Blancos striker is said to be buyable for a fee of around £31.3m.
Despite the interest from the Blues. Leicester City, however, seem to be at the forefront of the race with their representatives reportedly opening talks with Jovic’s agent.
The youngster has also aroused interests from different clubs including Napoli, Juventus, Inter Milan and AC Milan.
The Serbian forward hasn’t lived up to expectations at the Spanish Capital and Zidane might be looking to offload him with just 2 goals in 25 appearances for the Los Blancos.
But with 3 strikers at Frank Lampard’s disposal the chances of Jovic making the move to Stamford Bridge seems unlikely.
