Dean Henderson is said to be on Frank Lampard’s searchlight as he’s believed to be a possible replacement for out of form Kepa Arrizabalaga.
Frank Lampard is believed to have grown disillusioned over Kepa Arrizabalaga’s ability to be Chelsea’s long-term first-choice goalkeeper.
According to the Mirror, Henderson is a priority target for Chelsea this summer with Lampard said to be a ‘keen admirer’ of the 23-year-old’s talent.
The Englishman has two more years left on his Manchester United deal and the player will seek assurances before putting pen to paper on a new contract while Chelsea are prepared to make a £55 million offer and hand him a bumper contract worth around £170,000-a-week.
The 23-year-old shot-stopper has been on loan at Sheffield United in the just concluded Premier League season and is said to have impressed Frank Lampard.
He also looks to break into the Manchester United squad but if not, he might go for Chelsea.
