Peter Moore, Liverpool’s Chief Executive, is to leave his position after the club chose not to renew his contract after 3 years in charge of the Reds.
Moore will remain at his position until the end of August to assist Billy Hogan, who has been promoted from Chief Operating Officer to Chief Executive, with his change in position.
Hogan has been instrumental in revamping Liverpool’s commercial department and was the mastermind behind sealing the club’s Nike deal.
Fenway Sports Group brought Hogan over from Boston in 2014 and he will succeed Moore who replaced Ian Ayre in 2017.
Liverpool won 4 trophies while Moore was the CEO, including the long-awaited Premier League title.
