“There is a possibility to find a centre-back and I think we have to,” Carlo Ancelotti told Evening Standard when asked about which position his team needs signings.
When asked directly about the reports linking his team to a loan move with Fikayo Tomori, the former Chelsea boss said: “I am not talking about players that are not here.”
It has been widely reported that Fikayo Tomori is heading to Merseyside on a loan deal as there is slight chance of him cementing a starting position in the Chelsea squad for this campaign.
The Englishman man made 22 appearances for the Blues last campaign scoring two goals across all competitions.
