Jesse Lingard is now examining the possibility of an exit from Man United after being “surprised” by his omission from the squad to face Crystal Palace for United’s Premier League opener, according to The Telegraph.
United boss, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has complained about the lack of preparations after the loss but Lingard is one of the few players who completed a full pre-season with the Red Devils. In fact, he reported for training in the first week of September.
Furthermore, the 27-year-old forward finished 2019/20 on a high after scoring in final league game of the campaign and also in the consecutive game in United’s Europa League campaign.
Lingard played in the friendly against Aston Villa as well but it’ll be thrilling to see if he features in the upcoming Carabao Cup game against Luton Town.
