Edouard Mendy has completed his move to Chelsea from Rennes today, Chelsea have confirmed.
The Senegalese completed a move of around £22m also signing a five-year contract at the Bridge.
He would have to contend for a starting shirt with the likes of Kepa Arrizabalaga and Willy Caballero as he’s been tipped to go ahead of Kepa in Lampard’s pecking order.

Mendy will become Lampard’s seventh first-team summer addition, joining Timo Werner, Hakim Ziyech, Ben Chilwell, Thiago Silva, Malang Sarr and Kai Kavertz.
