Gianluigi Donnarumma will continue at AC Milan next season despite his contract coming to an end this summer, according to talkSPORT.

The 22-year-old has been a regular at the Milan Club ever since he broke into the team and has recorded over 200 appearances for the club including wearing the armband.

As per reports, the Italian was offered a new deal that could reach up to £6m on an annual basis, but nothing has pointed towards the direction of an agreement.

Reports have suggested Milan had offered Donnarumma a deal worth up to £6million annually, but no agreement has been made between the two parties.

He has also attracted interest from the Premier League as Manchester United and Chelsea are said to the interested in a move for him as a free agent.

This campaign, he has made 42 outings for the Milan outfit, conceding 51 goals and keeping 10 clean-sheets across all competitions.
