Enyimba’s influential captain Austin Oladapo will miss his side’s final Group game of the CAF Confederation Cup against Orlando Pirates this Wednesday.
Enyimba confirmed the absence of the skipper via a statement published on their official website on Tuesday.
The energetic midfielder is suspended for the game after picking his third yellow card of the group phase in the 1-0 defeat to Ahli Benghazi of Libya.
Aside from the accumulation of cards, Oladapo also limped off in the first half against Ahli Benghazi and he is yet to recover from the injury.
Joining Oladapo who is Enyimba’s leading scorer in the competition on the sideline due to injury are Nelson Ogbonnaya, Dayo Ojo, and Jean-Marie Guera.
Meanwhile, there is positive news on other injured players as the quartet of Farouk Mohammed, Samad Kadiri, Hassan Abubakar, and Imoh Obot set to return to the first team after a lengthy lay-off.
