Chelsea will receive offers for Tammy Abraham of around £40m this summer transfer market in a to sharpen the strike force at the club as per The Telegraph.
Tammy Abraham who proved to be an integral part in Frank Lampard’s plans has struggled to stamp his authority under Thomas Tuchel frozen out if the team more often than not.
With contract renewal talks not progressing with Olivier Giroud, he is also expected to leave the London outfit to reduce the wage bill and make room for a marquee signing in a striker.
Chelsea so far have been linked with the likes of Romelu Lukaku and Erling Haaland to take up the number 9 role in the team and could serve as competition for Timo Werner who has struggled to hit form with the Blues.
The England international will have two years remaining on his contract at the end of the season, but, despite having fallen down the pecking order, Chelsea will not let Abraham go cheaply.
Other fringe players in the team could also make way to free the wage bill and could sum up to around £100m which would be a massive boost in their bid land a top 9 which is seen as the club’s priority.
Leicester City are said to be interested in the 23-year-old who has scored 12 goals and contributed 6 assists in 31 appearances for the London outfit and is currently the highest goalscorer in the team.
