Aston Villa have seen their second bid to sign Emile Smith Rowe rejected by the Gunners, according to David Ornstein of The Athletic.
After an initial bid of £25m offer was rejected, another bid in the region of £30m also repelled. Arsenal remain unchanged that the midfielder is not for sale but they haven’t successfully tied him to a new deal at the Emirates.
Aston Villa, who sealed the transfer of Emi Buendia from Norwich City earlier this month are looking to strengthen the middle of the park and don’t seem to be deterred by having two initial offers for Emile Smith Rowe rebuffed.
The Villans could be planning for life after Jack Grealish with the England international continuously being linked with a move to Manchester City in recent weeks.
In a ‘not so good’ season for Arsenal, Emile Smith Rowe was one of the standout players for Arsenal alongside fellow compatriot Bukayo Saka.
