Pep Guardiola has held talks with Sergio Ramos and has made known his desire to land Ramos to Manchester City, according to journalist Ekrem Konur.

The former Real Madrid skipper has agreed terms with PSG on a potential move and it is said that the Parisiens are the best placed to secure his signing this summer.

After 16 illustrious years with Los Blancos winning 22 major trophies, including five La Liga titles, four Champions League trophies and two Copa Del Rey titles, contract renewal talks stalled, hence, the contract of Sergio Ramos was allowed to run out and now he is set to move on to a new home.

He has turned down the proposal of Pep Guardiola and also thanked him for his consideration.
