Pogba enjoys vacation in Miami with wife amid France Euro exit -

Paul Pogba is vacating in Miami as he enjoys some time away from the football pitch amid the fallout from France’s shock Euro 2020 exit.

Didier Deschamps’ side were beaten by Switzerland in the last 16, despite being heavy favourites to win the competition after their 2018 World Cup triumph.

The Manchester United midfielder enjoyed some shopping at a busy Target store with his wife, Maria Salaues, and their children.

Pogba wore an eye-catching floral outfit, a black cap and a pair of sunglasses.

While the midfielder will look to put France’s disappointing tournament behind him before he joins United for pre-season, the fallout in his home country has continued.

There have been several reports of arguments between various France players, including Pogba, as well as clashes between the stars’ families who watched on in the stands.

In the aftermath of the game, Veronique Rabiot, mother of midfielder Adrien, reportedly told Kylian Mbappe’s father to ‘reframe his son and make him less arrogant’.

She is also said to have asked Pogba’s family how he could have lost possession in midfield before the Swiss team countered and equalised and forced extra-time.

According to French Football News, players were involved in seveal rows during the defeat in Romania, with multiple flare ups occurring as Deschamps’ side were beaten on penalties.

The French outlet reports that Rabiot and Pogba insulted each other throughout the match, with the Juventus star unhappy with the midfielder’s defensive workrate.

Pogba's team-mates are said to have criticised his defensive workrate against Switzerland

Real Madrid star Raphael Varane lambasted Benjamin Pavard for his poor defending. The Bayern Munich defender later blasted Pogba for not contributing defensively and Varane is said to have sided with Pavard during this exchange.

‘Benj (Pavard) thinks that you are not defending enough,’ Varane is believed to have told Pogba, as claimed by Le Parisien.

Pogba then fired back, reportedly furious over the criticism, and confronted Pavard to ask: ‘What did you say?’

The outlet adds that Pavard followed up with several insults during the row, and even suggests the apparent disharmony in the group was a contributing factor in their collapse and shock exit.
